We can help to advise you about providing safe, appropriate and extremely effective care for your residents as individuals
How best to receive your medicines?
We can guide you when deciding how to receive our medications. Your residents may choose out of the following ways to receive their medicines:
Monitored Dosage System
Our health team provide Dosset boxes where the patients medications are received in a disposable press out packet. The monitored doses are clearly laid out for a seven day week and each column is separated into four compartments labeled ‘Breakfast’, ‘Lunch’, ‘Dinner’ and ‘Tea’
Child Resistant Containers
Unless requested, all our medicines are dispensed using containers that are child resistant. These are sometimes difficult to use for people with dexterity problems.
Many of the medicines we receive from distribution centers are already in easy to use blister packs. Some of these are automatically labeled with the days of the week, but the majority aren’t. We want to make living with a patients medication as easy as possible. Please do not hesitate to ask our advice as to how to help the individual.
